-Always use stove on a level surface.
-Keep stove away from anything that could catch fire.
-Keep gas in the proper orientation they are designed to be held i.e, the back country stoves the cans should be upright, the 1 burner front country stoves have butane canister that is placed horizontal in the stove, 2 burners are more designed to have the can standing on an angle when attached to regulator.
-Only use cookware that is designed to be used on a stove.
-Always make sure gas can is completely fastened to stove and screwed in all the way.
-Always make let stoves cool off before putting them back in carrying cases (if it comes with one).
-Always put back in carrying case when finished and it has time to cool.
